Okay, call me a freak if you want, but I miss my big honkin' spider that had been spinning it's web on my front porch for over a month or so. She (it has to have been a she because it was bigger than all the other wood spiders) disappeared this morning. I went to take another photo of her curled up in her corner sleeping during the day and she was gone. Now there's some small male in her place. I don't know if she moved on or if she died. Pretty sad that I'm bummed that my spider is gone. Even sadder yet that I, someone who is afraid of spiders, misses the damn thing!
