I Love Hockey

I love hockey. I love the feel of the ice under my skates. I love the sound of the puck as it slams against the boards. Hockey is the only sport I can honestly say that I worked hard at getting better. Hockey is the one sport that even when you're so sick that you're practically coughing up a lung, that you'll still gear up. Hockey is the sport that no matter how bad you hurt, you're still out finishing your shift. It's a lifetime addiction. Once you play it, there's no going back and all other sports seem lame. No, I'll never be a pro or an Olympic star, but the love of the game is what brings me back, year after year, no matter the politics or other crap that goes on. Hockey is what I love best.
