Game 4 vs. Phoenix

We came up short of a win, but still pulled out a tie. One goal went off of one of our defensemen's sticks, the other through our goalie's fivehole. She knew the puck was coming, but couldn't close those legs of hers fast enough. She felt bad about it, but shouldn't. She made a ton of saves in the third period that kept it from being a loss for us.

We're still having a problem with getting people to shoot earlier, but that will come with some more practice so I'm not worried about our lack of scoring a ton of goals. It only takes one more than the opponent to win, not ten. And speaking of goals...when am I going to score? I had a great slapper from the left point that just had to hit a stick in front of the net at the last second. Then I shot another one into the chest of one of the Phoenix forwards (I know THAT had to hurt). I'm snake bit, but I'll try and suck the venom out and get one in today.   :)
