January 31st - Game 17 vs. Hawks

The highlight of this game occurred with less than three minutes left in the game. The entire game was a joke. One ref was overheard in the face off circle telling one of the Hawks to hurry up and get on the ice because he wanted to get this done and get out of there. That set the tone for the game. Those two worthless assholes were there to collect their check and go home, they weren't there to ref the game. That's one of the biggest problems we have in women's hockey. We get people calling the games who could care less what is happening on the ice. All they want is the money.

So here we have a team, the Hawks, who have so many players who couldn't skate all that well, who had a free for all slashing, hacking, punching, and checking people from behind. I had one total asswipe who kicked me. If we hadn't already lost two players on defense, I would have been kicked out of that game for beating the crap out of her classless dirty ass. You do NOT EVER kick another player. That is one of the lowest of low and she fit the bill. Learn to skate you worthless waste of ice space.

So the highlight happened when the ass refs watched one of the Hawks slash Mitch in the back of the legs with a two handed slash. You could hear it hitting her on the bench. Mitch whipped around to face the crap player, number 33, who had been doing this shit the entire game. She figured the refs weren't going to call anything, so why not do what ever she wanted. The refs just sat there, so Mitch took it into her own hands. She shove the cow, pulled her down to the ice and punched her several times. And the refs missed another call when one of the Hawks jumped on Mitch's back while they stood there doing nothing. Hello...third man in you dumbasses. Make the frickin' calls!

We had a ton of shots, but most of them weren't all that hard because as one player on our team put it, "It's hard shooting the puck when someone's allowed to hook you the entire game." Their goalie was big, so she took up a lot of net, and toss our players being hooked, punched, and checked as they went to shoot and that equals no goals. The game ended up as a 1-1 tie. Our goalie let in a soft one. She said she didn't play the angle right.

So we left that game pissed off at the refs for giving the other team full rein to hack and slash. They let it get out of control and ruined what should have been a real hockey game, not that shit that went on all night. And for those of you on the Hawks, you shouldn't be proud of what you did. It wasn't hockey that you played. All it did was showcase your lack of skills. Thanks for letting us know what to expect the next time we step on the ice with you so we can watch our backs, because the refs sure in the hell didn't.
