Obama the Magic Negro

There's a big stink going on about the parody song (Obama the Magic Negro sung to the tune of Puff the Magic Dragon) made about Obama. People are going nuts over it and freaking out. I say get over it. There's going to be parodies about the guy and negro is an old term that's not used any more, so it worked with the old song. No one went nuts when all the photos of Bush came out with him next to monkeys and they compared them to him. Is it because Obama is part black that he gets a special pass to not be made fun of or talked about? He's a human, not some god sent here to save the USA. He won't be able to snap his fingers and have everything perfect in a few months after taking office. He's a figure in the public eye and he WILL be a target for jokes, photoshopped pictures, rumors, etc. If people can call Bush a Texas Jackass or Monkey Boy, then Obama can be called a Magic Negro. He's not special, he's not above it all, he's just like anyone else on this planet, so deal with all the crap that will be coming out in songs, jokes, and other forms of parodies.
